Launch a Personalized Inbound Experience

Learn how to create a new personalized experience in less than 5 minutes.

In just a few clicks, you can configure a personalized experience. Let's jump in! 

Step 1 - Create your segment
From the segment creator, Mutiny will show you an estimate of monthly traffic and conversion rate for each data attribute. In the right hand pane, Mutiny shows you how much of your total traffic the segment you are defining covers and an estimated impact based on a given lift size.

Step 2 - Choose an experience type

Once you named your segment, hit "Create an experience" to see the page below. Select the type of experience you want to create and click the "Experience settings" button on the top right to go to the next step.

Step 3 - Choose your page
Enter the URL(s) where you want the test to run. If you don't know where to start, the homepage is usually a good starting place. Click "Open editor" to get into the editor. 

If you want your experience to run on multiple pages, click the blue "Use multiple URLs" link (more details on this here). If you want to test multiple versions of personalized content, check the "Test different versions" box. This is recommended only for high traffic segments/pages (more details here).


Step 4 - Create your experience
Click on the elements you want to change, modify them using the options in the right hand pane, and click save. For more information on the editor options, see our guide here.

That's it!
Preview (top right) to give it a look on your site, save for later (Save & Exit button), or go live (Launch button).
