Follow this guide to get up and running with inbound personalization.

Implement Mutiny on your website and landing pages

Add the Mutiny JS snippet to the head of your website and landing pages to activate them for personalization, tracking conversions, and collecting data to be used to inform segment recommendations. You should include the snippet on any web property you want to personalize and any page where conversion events occur.

Add your integrations

Connect Clearbit, Segment, and Salesforce to use as data sources for creating segments. Integrating with Segment will also allow you to choose Segment events for your conversion tracking.

Set up your conversion tracking

Set up your conversion tracking to measure your experiments and receive segment recommendations. You should track conversions when leads are captured. 

If you use Segment, you should use Segment event tracking

If you don't use Segment, we recommend using Track Event which will require some light engineering work but is the most accurate way to measure. 

If you don't have access to engineering resources, you can choose Page View to track views of your Thank You page or Form or Link to track in-page engagements. (More info).

Mutiny can also pick up conversion events from Drift, Calendly and HubSpot.

Establish your personalization team

Identify who will be part of your personalization team. The most successful personalization programs include an acquisition lead, product/content marketing, sales rep/advisor, and a tech resource to help with some light initial implementation.
