Copy an Experience to a New or Different Segment

Copying an existing experience may be an easier starting point than recreating your personalizations from scratch. Here's how.

Updated over a week ago

Copying an experience can save you time if you are creating similar or identical experiences in different segments. It's really easy to copy an experience to a new or different segment.

Step 1 - Navigate to your Inbound tab and click on the segment you'd like to copy an experience from. Click on the three dot menu on the experience card for the experience you want to copy. Select "Copy".

Step 2 - From the "Copy web experience" modal, you can recreate this experience in several ways:

1) Click on the segment you want to copy the experience to and click the "Copy" CTA.

2) If you have not yet created the segment, click the blue "Create new segment" link in the top right. This will take you to the "Define segment" page where you can choose the attributes for your new segment.

Step 3 - After clicking "Copy" you will be taken to the segment you selected and the experience you copied will be shown as a "Pending" experience. Use the three dot menu on the experience card to select "Edit" and configure any additional changes you want to make to the experience in the editor.

If there are no additional changes you want to make, click "Launch" from the editor.
